Job summary

Powerback is looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Kearney, Nebraska. In this role, you will assist patients in their recovery through personalized therapy programs. You will have the opportunity to work in a caring environment and collaborate with a skilled rehab team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

• Help patients get well by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Adopt a patient-centered approach, addressing the whole patient.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to support patients’ holistic recovery.

• Help patients get well by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities, following developed recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments.
• Adopt a patient‑centered approach, addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual.
• Maintain adaptability to the needs of the patient and find joy in the variety of work settings.
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to support patients’ holistic recovery.
• Ensure patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
