Job summary

Powerback is actively seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-facility rehab team. You will help implement occupational therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver targeted therapy to patients across settings.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, adaptability to individual needs, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to restore independence and improve quality of life in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program in line with AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• NBCOT initial certification is required.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by implementing occupational therapy programs and recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and adapt plans to patient needs.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program (AOTA/ACOTE standards)

Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You engage the whole patient, seeing them as an individual, and execute programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence. You adapt to each patient’s needs, collaborate with peers, and make referrals as needed to provide the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
2. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
3. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $32.00 – USD $36.00 /Hr.
