We are hiring PRN Occupational Therapist Assistants for Maplewood Healthcare and Laurelwood Healthcare, which provide short-term, long-term rehab, and outpatient services. Join our in-house team under great leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the treatment plans.
• Assist therapists with tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Observe, record, and report patient conditions and responses.
• Maintain treatment records and progress notes.
• Assist with consultations with family, physicians, and healthcare professionals.
• Help care for the occupational therapy department and equipment.
• Participate in in-service programs and meetings.
• Maintain clinical currency through continuing education.
• Comply with regulatory and professional standards.
• Participate in team conferences regarding patient progress.
• Adhere to company policies and participate in quality improvement and safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Understand reimbursement processes and allocate resources effectively.
• Know OBRA, HIPAA, and third-party reimbursement guidelines.

Qualifications
