Monroe Health & Rehab Center in Cambria Township, PA is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to help return patients to their optimal physical function within a skilled nursing facility. You will educate patients on independent exercise programs and activity modification to sustain progress after discharge, under OT supervision.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in OTA and a valid OTA license, with basic computer skills and experience with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in OTA studies from an accredited college.

Position Summary:

The primary function of your job return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification, under the supervision of the OT and DOR.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.

• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.

• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.

• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.

Shift & Wage:

• Full-Time Opportunities Available

• Shifts Needed: Days

• Wage: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
