Job summary

Slate Belt Health & Rehab Ctr in Bangor, PA is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to help return residents to optimal function within a skilled nursing facility. You will work under supervision of the OT and DOR to educate patients, guide independent exercise programs, and modify activities as needed.

The role requires an Associate's Degree, an active OTA license, and basic computer skills to navigate EHR and service delivery software.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current and valid OTA license.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate software including EHR.

Responsibilities

• Return patient to optimal physical function within a SNF setting and facilitate achievement of therapy goals.
• Instruct patients in maintenance of function after discharge through education and independent exercise.
• Work under supervision of the OT and DOR to modify activities as needed.

Position Summary:

The primary function of your job return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification, under the supervision of the OT and DOR.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
