Job summary

Ahava Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for our Cordova, TN facility. The OTA will support skilled therapy services at Cordova Wellness & Rehab Center, assisting with evaluations, plan of care, and collaborative care with an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an accredited OTA program graduate, Tennessee OTA license eligibility, BLS/CPR certification, and strong communication and observation skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Tennessee OTA license (or eligible).
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or obtained during orientation).
• Strong written, verbal, and observational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled OTA treatments per established plan of care.
• Assist the OT with evaluations, tests, and complex procedures.
• Observe, document, and report resident progress and conditions.
• Maintain accurate daily treatment documentation and progress notes.
• Assist in consultations with families, physicians, and team members.
• Support department care, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
• Participate in in-service training and continuing education.
• Contribute to care conferences and quality improvement initiatives.
