Job summary

Beaumont Home Health seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant I to deliver skilled OT services in patients' homes under the plan of care. The role emphasizes educating patients and families, documenting progress, and ensuring safety across visits.

Ideal candidates have OTA licensure in the state of employment, at least one year of OTA experience (home health preferred), and strong communication abilities with patients, families, physicians and coworkers. A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in patient homes according to plan of care.

• Maintain required documentation per agency and Medicare guidelines.

The OTA I educates patients and their family members and ensures the safety of the patient. The OTA I is accountable for completing accurate documentation and remains compliant with all legal rules and regulations.
