Ardent in Topeka, KS is seeking a day shift, full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). The role offers opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and a supportive team environment.

The OTA will deliver care per established plans, supervise support staff, and contribute to program development while upholding AOTA standards and state regulations. A Kansas OT license, CPR, and BLS completion are required or within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Active Kansas OTA license.
• CPR certification.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsabilités

• Delivers care following occupational therapy plans of care and ensures delivery of prescribed care to patients per AOTA standards and Kansas practice act.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes occupational therapy services and professional development within the organization and community.
• Reports to the assigned leader of department.

Responsibilities

• Performs delivery of care following occupational therapy plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the occupational therapy practice act in the State of Kansas.
• Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
• Promotes occupational therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community.
• Reports to the assigned leader of department

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
