Job summary

Thrive Therapy of Kansas is seeking a Full-Time Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide hands-on OT services to patients in their homes in the Kansas City, KS area. Under the supervision of a licensed OT, you will help patients improve independence in daily activities, document progress, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Active Kansas OTA license through KSBHA.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a home health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled OTA interventions as outlined in the plan of care.
• Assist patients with improving independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to address strength, coordination, mobility, and functional performance.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Accurately document treatment sessions and patient responses in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, safety strategies, and home programs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Maintain compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements.

Position Summary

• Valid Kansas OT license


• Reliable Vehicle


• Valid Driver's License


• Must pass a background check
