Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to adults and geriatric patients at Dow Rummel in Sioux Falls, SD. Work under the supervision of a licensed OT to carry out treatment plans that improve ADLs, mobility, strength, and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current OTA license (or eligibility) in applicable state.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled OT treatment in accordance with established plans of care.
• Implement individualized treatment programs focused on functional outcomes.
• Treat adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) and rehabilitation settings.
• Monitor patient response and communicate progress with the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes

Blue Stone Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients at Dow Rummel in Sioux Falls, SD.

This role focuses on delivering skilled occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation setting. The Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans designed to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, strength, cognition, and overall independence.

This position will serve multiple partner communities, including Bethel Lutheran Home in Madison, SD with travel between locations as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment in accordance with established plans of care
