Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy in Lincoln, NE is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide skilled OT services to adult and geriatric residents in a SNF/post-acute rehab setting.

Under the supervision of a licensed OT, you will implement treatment plans focused on ADLs, mobility, strength, cognition, and independence, while documenting progress and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current OTA license or eligibility in the applicable state.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment per established plans of care.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - [Lincoln, NE]

Blue Stone Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients at [Eventide Lincoln Care Center] in [Lincoln, NE].

This role focuses on delivering skilled occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation setting. The Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans designed to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, strength, cognition, and overall independence.

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment in accordance with established plans of care
• Implement individualized treatment programs focused on functional and measurable outcomes
• Treat adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting and rehabilitation settings
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes

Requirements

What You Bring

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable state
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills
