Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Lansing, IA

Blue Stone Therapy is seeking a Full Time or PART TIME Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients at Thornton Manor Nursing & Care Center in Lansing, IA.

What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment in accordance with established plans of care
• Implement individualized treatment programs focused on functional and measurable outcomes
• Treat adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting and rehabilitation settings
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress with the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable state
• Experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, or post‑acute rehabilitation preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical reasoning skills
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and professional standards
