Job summary

Phoenix Mountain Post Acute is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team in Phoenix, AZ. You will provide skilled OT interventions under supervision, focusing on ADLs, mobility, cognition, and independence, with opportunities for mentorship and career growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT A program.
• Current state Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility).
• New graduates and experienced clinicians are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, medically necessary occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Deliver individualized treatment programs focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, strength, cognition, and overall independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, activities, modalities, adaptive equipment training, and other rehabilitation interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings with the supervising Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Document patient outcomes while maintaining regulatory and clinical standards.

Education
