Job summary

Flagship Therapy's Tempe Post Acute therapy team is seeking a passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house group. This full-time or PRN role offers a collaborative environment where your skills are valued and growth is supported.

You will implement OT treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, help patients regain independence in ADLs and mobility, and document progress per regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona COTA license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Open to applicants of all experience levels.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving independence with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and functional tasks.
• Provide therapeutic activities, exercises, adaptive equipment training, and restorative interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on techniques and strategies to maximize independence and safety.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards.
