Job summary

CareOne at Newton, MA is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehabilitation team. The OTA will support supervising therapists, participate in resident screenings, and help maintain thorough clinical documentation to ensure quality care and compliance with standards.

• Experience or knowledge in older-adult rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation care following accepted practice methods and meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising therapist.
• Provide feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participate in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
• Participate in all center-directed processes and services.
• Manage treatment and non-treatment related activities effectively.
• Maintain necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
• Keep complete, accurate billing records as required.
• Participate in in-service training programs as requested.
• Travel to other facilities on a limited basis when needed.
