Job summary

CareOne is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Beverly, MA to collaborate daily with nursing and clinical staff to achieve stronger patient outcomes in a comprehensive rehab setting. The role focuses on in-house rehabilitation, with opportunities across our multi-state network.

The OTA will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, complete documentation, and participate in center processes while contributing to high-quality resident care and continuity across shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitation care within general accepted practice methods, meeting standards.
• Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
• Provides feedback to the supervisor on clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Performs resident screenings according to schedules and practices.
• Maintains billing records to meet requirements.
• May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant's (OTA) overall responsibility is to manage the care of the resident/resident, managing quality of all related outcomes.

Position Information

Location: Beverly, MA

Facility: CareOne at Essex Park

Practice Setting: (Short Term Rehab, Assisted Living, LTACH, Long Term Care)

$ 30.00 - $ 45.00

Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
• Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
• Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
• Participates in all center directed processes and services.
• Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
• Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
• Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements
• Participates in in-service training programs as requested
• May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis

Position Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
