Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare in Katy, TX seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will plan and administer treatments to residents with disabilities under supervision and ensure care follows the established plan of care.

New grads are welcome to apply. Applicants must hold an active Texas license as an OT Assistant and a COTA certification, with knowledge of Net Health documentation. Competitive compensation and flexible schedules are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies.
• Experience in SNF/Long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with disabilities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information to the Occupational Therapist.
• Ensure all treatment is delivered in accordance with the plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention.
• Complete required forms and documentation per company policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
