Responsibilities

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Summary: Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients, and adhering to all regulations and guidelines. Ensure quality patient care, supervise rehab techs (if required), and handle case management responsibilities. Uphold professional conduct reflecting Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service.

Essential Duties:

• Optimize patients' functional abilities under OT supervision
• Develop and build a strong OTA program
• Enhance clinical and management skills through interaction and continuing education
• Maintain valid state licensure and stay informed about industry issues
• Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and delivery methods to provide quality care within guidelines
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively in English in all professional interactions
