Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. Working under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist, you will assist in implementing individualized care plans and supporting patients throughout all phases of therapy.

You will document patient progress in charts, communicate with the OT, director, rehab team, and facility staff, and use standard OT equipment to deliver quality treatment and achieve excellent functional outcomes.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
