Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our growing team. Working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will assist in implementing individualized plans of care and helping patients achieve functional improvements.

You will document patient progress, collaborate with therapists and facility staff, and help operate standard occupational therapy equipment to support patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Develop and implement treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
• Assist with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record progress in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with the Occupational Therapist, Rehab Director or facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.

In this role, you’ll assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
