Ashealthnet in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant I to provide skilled home-based therapy under the physician's plan of care, educate patients and families, document care in compliance with Medicare guidelines, and coordinate with the care team.

The OTA I will help improve patient independence, perform therapy procedures, monitor progress, and participate in case conferences while maintaining a professional appearance and valid Ohio licensure.

Qualificações

• Minimum of one year of OTA experience, acute setting preferred.
• Home care experience is desirable.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and coworkers.
• Knowledge of therapy best practices relevant to occupational therapy.
• Ability to make appropriate occupational therapy judgments.
• Detail-oriented and observant with strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name.

Responsabilidades

The OTA I educates patients and their family members and ensures the safety of the patient. The OTA I is accountable for completing accurate documentation and remains compliant with all legal rules and regulations.
