Foundations Pediatric Therapy is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to support pediatric therapy for children birth through age 12 in a community-based setting in Cincinnati.

Under supervision of a licensed OT, you will implement plans, document services, and collaborate with a team of child-centered professionals. The role offers growth opportunities to a full-time position at Kids First Sports Center.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Current OTA license in Ohio.
• 1+ years of pediatric experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group occupational therapy services to children from birth through age 12 under supervision.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

Foundations Pediatric Therapy is seeking an energetic, play-based Occupational Therapy Assistant to support therapy services for children in a growing program. This is more than a job opening. Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group-based occupational therapy services to children from birth through age 12, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising OT and monitor patient progress.
• Support families and provide guidance for carryover of skills.
• Collaborate with other professionals to support families served.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of services.
• Schedule clients.
• Communicate and work effectively with other departments within the facility to support the program.
• Assist department leadership in shaping innovative, evidence-based programming as the department continues to grow.

Requirements:

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current OTA license in the state of Ohio
• 1 or more years of experience working in pediatrics
• Strong desire to collaborate with other professionals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: $21–$27 per hour, commensurate with experience
