Job summary

Foundations Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant to support a growing program at Kids First Sports Center in Cincinnati. This part-time role offers potential growth into full-time and a chance to impact children’s development in a community-based setting.

You will work under a licensed OT, delivering services to children from birth through age 12, and collaborate with families and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Current Ohio OTA license.
• 1+ year pediatric experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services to children from birth through age 12 under supervision.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

Foundations Pediatric Therapy is seeking an energetic, play-based Occupational Therapy Assistant to support therapy services for children in a growing program. This is more than a job opening. Kids First Sports Center offers over 100,000 square feet of youth sport facilities, including gymnastics, preschool gymnastics, swim, ninja, dance, and cheer programs, all under one roof. Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group-based occupational therapy services to children from birth through age 12, under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising OT and monitor patient progress.
• Support families and provide guidance for carryover of skills.
• Collaborate with other professionals to support families served.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of services.
• Schedule clients.
• Communicate and work effectively with other departments within the facility to support the program.
• Assist department leadership in shaping innovative, evidence-based programming as the department continues to grow.

Requirements:

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current OTA license in the state of Ohio
• 1 or more years of experience working in pediatrics
• Strong desire to collaborate with other professionals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: $21–$27 per hour, commensurate with experience
