Job summary

CareOne is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab team in Bound Brook, NJ. You will collaborate daily with nursing and clinical staff to improve patient outcomes, ensure consistent care, and participate in opportunities for career growth across a multi-state network.

The role emphasizes providing rehabilitation care per supervising therapists' plans, maintaining precise documentation, and possibly traveling to other CareOne facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Prefer experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitation care within accepted practice methods meeting Standards.
• Implements treatment plans as outlined by supervising therapist.
• Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation and billing records.
• Participates in screening residents and center processes as directed.
• May travel to other facilities to provide services.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant's (OTA) overall responsibility is to manage the care of the resident/resident, managing quality of all related outcomes.

Position Information

Location: Bound Brook, NJ

Facility: CareOne at Somerset

Salary Range: $30- $45 per Hour

Practice Setting: Short Term Rehab and Long Term Care

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
• Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
• Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
• Participates in all center directed processes and services.
• Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
• Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
• Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements
• Participates in in-service training programs as requested
• May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis

Position Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
