CareOne is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for its in-house rehab team at Livingston, NJ. The role supports ongoing patient care across multiple settings, with full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities available.

Location: Livingston, NJ; Facility: CareOne at Livingston. Salary range is $30-$45 per hour, with diverse shifts and a strong emphasis on team collaboration and stable, in-house rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitation care within general practice methods meeting standards.
• Implements treatment plans as outlined by supervising therapist.
• Provides feedback to supervisor on clinical issues.
• Participates in resident screening according to schedules.
• Manages treatment and related activities.
• Performs clinical documentation to meet requirements.
• Maintains billing records per requirements.
• Participates in in-service training programs.
• May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant's (OTA) overall responsibility is to manage the care of the resident/resident, managing quality of all related outcomes.

Location: Livingston, NJ

Facility: CareOne at Livingston

Salary Range: $30-$45 per Hour

Practice Setting: (Short Term Rehab, Assisted Living, LTACH, Long Term Care)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
• Implements treatment plans as outlined by the supervising therapist.
• Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
• Participates in all center directed processes and services.
• Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
• Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
• Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements
• Participates in in-service training programs as requested
• May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis

Position Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Prefer-experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
