Job summary

Eleutheria seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide services in a Valley Center, CA school setting for the 2026-2027 year. You will assess students, plan treatments, and deliver therapy to improve communication and access to education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal assessments to determine eligibility and function.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide direct occupational therapy aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain IEPs; participate in reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support skill generalization.
• Maintain therapy notes, data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support COTAs, including monitoring supervision hours.

About the Role:

Provide Occupational Therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. What You'll Do:

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members
• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services aligned with IEP goals
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation
• Supervise and support COTAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)

What We're Looking For:

Must Have:

• Occupational Therapy License.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred:

• One year of experience in speech therapy
• Department of Education certification
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
• Experience with school-based caseload managementrecruiter to provide.
