Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in California is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide direct and virtual school-based therapy across multiple campuses. You will adapt interventions to meet IEP goals and coordinate with teachers and families.

This contract offers 0.8 FTE to full-time options, paid planning time, and streamlined onboarding with virtual interviews. Travel between schools is required to reach diverse learners aged 5 to 22.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active California Occupational Therapist license (CA OT).
• Experience in school-based OT and/or pediatric teletherapy is required.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Passion for supporting learners aged 5–22.

Responsibilities

Desired Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and virtual occupational therapy interventions to students, adapting strategies to individual educational needs
• Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goalsincluding progress monitoring
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to deliver comprehensive student-centered care
• Travel between assigned schools as needed; manage a caseload spanning multiple grade levels
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress evaluations for each student served
• Participate in training sessions and ongoing district professional development opportunities
