Jabbergym in Modesto, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT services for K-12 students. You will assess, plan, and deliver therapy aligned with IEP goals, collaborating with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and functioning level.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide direct Occupational Therapy aligned with IEP goals.
• Prepare and maintain compliant IEPs and participate in reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support skill generalization.
• Maintain therapy notes, assessment data and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support COTAs and monitor supervision hours.

About the Role

Provide Occupational Therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. This role collaborates closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning

• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services aligned with IEP goals
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation
• Supervise and support COTAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable)

What We're Looking For

• Must Have: Occupational Therapy License. DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication
• Preferred: One year of experience in speech therapy Department of Education certification Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs Experience with school-based caseload management
