Job summary

Point Quest Group, through Pacific Coast Speech Services, invites applications for an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT in a Los Angeles K-12 setting. You will assess students, plan treatment, and deliver direct therapy to improve functional skills aligned with IEP goals.

Qualifications

• OT license required.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Preferred: 1 year of school-based or speech therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support COTAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).
