Job summary

Oaklin Lane is a neighborhood pediatric therapy clinic hiring an OT Tech to support our OT team. You’ll help prepare therapy spaces, assist during sessions, and keep equipment safe and organized so kids can play and learn.

You’ll work closely with licensed OTs and COTAs, gaining hands-on experience in pediatric rehab and sensory integration. We offer a four-day work week, full-time hours, subsidized health plans, 401(k) with employer match, and paid CEUs plus licensure renewal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare therapy spaces and equipment for sessions.
• Support therapists during sessions and ensure safety.
• Sanitize and organize therapy equipment and areas.
• Assist with patient flow and transport as needed.
• Monitor inventory and restock supplies.
• Create a welcoming, kid-friendly clinic environment.

At Oaklin Lane, sensory integration is core to how we practice. All clinicians—across speech, occupational, and physical therapy—are expected to incorporate sensory-based techniques into their work with the children we serve. If you don't yet have experience with sensory integration, that's okay: we provide dedicated training and mentorship to help you build these skills and apply them confidently within your discipline.

What you’ll do

• Help OTs and COTAs prepare therapy spaces and equipment for treatment sessions
• Support therapists during sessions — managing equipment and keeping the environment safe
• Sanitize and organize therapy equipment and treatment areas throughout the day
• Help with patient flow, including walking families to and from treatment areas
• Keep an eye on inventory and flag when supplies need to be restocked
• Help keep the clinic feeling like a place kids actually want to be
• Show up for team meetings and contribute to the clinic’s culture
• Pitch in on admin and operational support as needed

Who you are

You are:

• Positive, proactive, and detail-oriented
• Interested in pediatric healthcare, OT, kinesiology, or a related field
• Great with kids, or excited to be
• A strong teammate who brings good energy to every session
• Physically able to lift, move, and assist with equipment safely

You bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with children (a plus, not required)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

What to expect

Schedule: Full-time · Monday - Thursday · 8:00AM to 6:00PM (with a lunch break) · Four-day work week · No nights or weekends
