Job summary

Elwyn is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a regional team in Rhode Island, developing and implementing programs to support adults in the least restrictive environment. The OT provides input, oversight, and coaching across GLEs, ensuring therapeutic strategies fit daily routines at home and in the community.

The role involves collaboration with staff and service providers, participation in treatment plan meetings, and ongoing professional development to maintain therapeutic excellence.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Rhode Island.
• Experience in OT services preferred.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent judgment and problem-solving with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer interaction and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic EHR/EMR knowledge.
• Valid driver's license with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and coaching to regional teams per regulations.
• Assess eligibility and plan discharge for residents.
• Deliver training on OT techniques and adaptations.
• Collaborate with staff and providers to ensure coverage.
• Participate in treatment plan meetings and set goals.
• Conduct evaluations to tailor client needs.
• Attend team meetings and pursue professional development.
• Complete required documentation and other duties.
