Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to identify appropriate interventions.
• Evaluate residents to inform treatment plans and set short/long-term goals.
• Interpret and communicate findings and recommendations to residents and families.
• Establish resident therapy schedules with the team.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services per plan.
• Perform all duties to effectively treat patients.
• Oversee COTA and ensure compliant documentation and reimbursement.
