Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess, plan, organize and participate in rehabilitative programs that restore function in activities of daily living and mobility. The role emphasizes cost-conscious, quality-focused care and regulatory compliance across the continuum of services.

The position requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, and active OT licensure with BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• OT licensure and BLS certification required upon hire.
• Strong communication, teamwork and patient-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Implements the occupational therapy treatment plan and progress toward goals.
• Assesses patients and develops plans of care with input from patient/family.
• Documents evaluations and treatment sessions per departmental guidelines.
• Maintains confidentiality and infection prevention, and participates in staff meetings.
• Engages in professional development and mandatory education.
