Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) – IDFPR (Illinois)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days – American Heart Association
• Bachelor’s Degree: Occupational Therapy (Required)

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient transfers safely and promote proper body mechanics.
• Design and adjust care plans with goals, outcomes, and discharge planning.
• Assess and fit splints/orthotics as needed.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and staff using effective methods.
• Evaluate clinical findings and determine PT diagnoses and plans of care.
• Perform examinations with reliable methods based on history and complaints.
• Screen patients to determine need for therapy services and supervision.
• Monitor care delivered by staff and provide feedback.
• Communicate with the medical team and document per standards.
• Meet customer service and productivity standards and participate in team activities.
