Fruitvale Healthcare Center in Oakland, CA is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver patient-focused care in a supportive, family-like environment.

We offer a competitive annual salary of $104,000–$124,800 with PRN/on-call options, a sign-on bonus, PTO, and referral bonuses as part of our benefits package.

Qualifications include a California OT license and a BS/MS/OTD; new graduates are welcome, with one year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal problems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Participates in an interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
• Provides adaptive tools and treatments for specific patient needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe environment on discharge.
