Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification preferred; may be required depending on facility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required within 60 days of employment.
• May require valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments.
• Evaluate physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to develop therapy goals.
• Document evaluations and treatment plans in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Provide education to clients and families to improve functional outcomes.
• Collaborate with care teams and supervise assistants as needed.
