Job summary

Good Samaritan in Auburn, NE is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a part-time role (20 hours/week) in a senior care setting. You will assess residents, design and implement therapy plans, and monitor progress across post-acute, long-term care, and home health environments.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document outcomes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Licensed OT with NBCOT is preferred; BLS is required within 60 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice occupational therapy in the state(s) of practice.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• BLS for healthcare providers within 60 days of employment or as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan OT treatments for residents in post-acute, long-term care, and home health settings.
• Design and implement interventions to improve functional abilities and independence.
• Document progress and adjust plans per departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and mentor assistants or students when needed.
