Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking an occupational therapist to assess and treat clients in a not-for-profit setting in Hastings, NE. You will design, implement, and document OT interventions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support independence for seniors.

Responsibilities include evaluation, goal planning, and education for patients and families, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in the state(s) of practice.
• NBCOT certification preferred or required.
• Current BLS for health care providers.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Supervision of assistants and students when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess and design occupational therapy treatments for clients/patients/residents.
• Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental and psychosocial abilities.
• Document evaluations and develop/modifiy therapeutic plans as needed.
• Provide ongoing education to clients and families to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient care.
• Mentor and train peers; adapt to department guidelines and regulatory requirements.
