Key Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Minnesota
• Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Background working with a range of student ages, particularly in elementary and middle school
• Ability to provide supervision and guidance to a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Strong commitment to fostering student growth and supporting individualized education plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district policies
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress for students requiring OT services
• Collaborate closely with school staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Supervise and mentor a COTA, ensuring quality support for students and compliance with best practices
• Maintain clear, thorough documentation of evaluations, interventions, and outcomes
• Travel between the designated middle school and elementary school sites as scheduled
