Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students to determine functional abilities and performance levels.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
  • Provide therapy services in accordance with IFSP/IEP requirements.
  • Support student independence in activities of daily living and functional skills.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and progress records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, parents, and school personnel.
  • Recommend referrals to other clinical services when appropriate.
  • Design and fit adaptive devices such as splints or braces as needed.
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide supervision to Occupational Therapy students and OT Assistants when applicable.
  • Maintain therapy equipment and coordinate supply needs.
