Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services in Detroit, MI for the 2026-2027 school year. You will assess students in K-12 settings, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct OT services aligned with IEP goals.

The role requires an OT license, a DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance, and strong communication with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

Qualifications

• OT license required and DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support COTAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).
