Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a school-based role in Charlotte, MI. The OT will provide services to K-12 students, conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy aligned with IEP goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support COTAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).

Job Description: $50-60/Hour | Full -Time | Charlotte, MI | School-Based | 2026-2027 school year | MI OT License Required

About the Role:

Provide Occupational Therapy services to students in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. This role collaborates closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:

• Preferred: One year of experience in speech therapy
• Department of Education certification
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
