PediaStaff is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist for a full-time school-based position in the Tacoma, WA area. The role focuses on helping students develop fine motor and functional skills within a supportive educational setting.

As a pediatric OT, you will assess students, deliver interventions aligned with IEPs, and collaborate with teachers and administrators to create accommodating learning environments that foster growth and success.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in OT and WA license required.
• Experience with school-based pediatric populations preferred.

Role Overview:

As a pediatric OT, you will help students develop fine motor skills, adapt to physical or cognitive challenges, or access appropriate educational tools and techniques. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:

Full Time, 35-40 Hrs/Wk Start 09/02/2026- 06/23/2027 Caseload is 40-45 students

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
• Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
