Job summary

PediaStaff in Port Orchard, WA is seeking a qualified Pediatric Occupational Therapist to support students in school-based and clinical settings. You will assess fine motor, sensory, and functional abilities, develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEPs, and collaborate with teachers and specialists to create supportive learning environments.

Applicants must hold a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and a valid state license in Washington; experience with children and bilingual abilities

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Valid Washington state license required.
• Experience working with children and/or bilingual abilities are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions aligned with students' IEPs to support academic and developmental goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments for students.
• Contribute to IEP development by providing insights on motor development, sensory needs, and suitable accommodations.
• Maintain documentation and participate in ongoing professional guidance and mentorship.
