Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based therapy across elementary to high school settings. You will work on-site to promote students’ functional participation in classroom activities and daily routines.

You will develop individualized goals, collaborate with educators and families, document progress, and adapt interventions based on data to support educational outcomes.

Qualificações

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and state licensure/certification as required.
• Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Occupational Therapist (School-Based)

Provide occupational therapy services to students in elementary, middle, and high school settings. Work on-site to support students’ functional participation in school and daily activities through therapeutic interventions and individualized care.

Key Duties

• Assess students’ needs related to fine motor, sensory, self-care, and classroom participation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support educational goals.
• Deliver direct therapy and consult with educators, families, and support staff.
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data and student responses.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with required standards.
• Support assistive technology and classroom accommodations as appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and state licensure/certification as required.
• Experience providing OT services in educational or pediatric settings (preferred).
• Strong assessment skills and ability to create measurable, individualized goals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Sound clinical judgment, documentation accuracy, and student-centered practice.
