Job summary

Bond Health in New York is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide school-based evaluation and therapy services to students, aiming to improve independence and participation in educational activities.

You will work with families, teachers, and an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans, address motor, sensory, ADL and functional skills, and ensure confidentiality and compliance with fingerprint clearance.

Qualifications

• Current NYS Occupational Therapist License required.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide OT services aligned with IFSPs and IEPs.
• Address fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, ADLs, and functional skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, evaluations, and progress notes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, annual reviews, and parent consultations.
• Recommend referrals and adaptive equipment when appropriate.
• Assist with evaluations, intake, and ongoing student support.
• Maintain therapy equipment and supplies.
• Supervise OT students or Occupational Therapy Assistants when applicable.
