Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients to help them reach maximum functioning.
Consult with environmental design, adaptive equipment, positioning, and to schools, nursing homes, home care, and hospital settings.
Maintain timely and accurate patient records and reports.
Design and administer treatment programs to improve strength, range of motion, and fine-motor skills.
Train patients in self-care activities and use of adaptive equipment.
Provide therapy for neurological integration and cognitive/visual-perceptual remediation as needed.
Perform home assessments and design home programs for patients and families.
Participate in patient support groups and coordinate with team members.
