Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients, helping them reach maximum performance and function in the community.
• Administer comprehensive evaluations and document patient progress in accordance with standards and procedures; provide consultation on environmental design, adaptive equipment, and positioning of patients.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records and reports.
• Design and administer treatment programs to improve strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination; instruct patients in adaptive techniques and use of equipment for daily living.
• Provide therapy for neurological integration and sensorimotor activities; develop programs for adult learning-disabled patients.
• Design and fabricate splints, slings and adaptive equipment as prescribed.
• Provide prevention therapy to maintain functional skills and educate families on transfers and safety.
• Assess cognitive, coordination, and adaptive equipment needs and develop home programs.
• Collaborate with team members and participate in patient support groups.
• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care.

Education

Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy

Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association

Licensed within the State of Montana
