Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required.
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association required.
• Licensed within the State of Montana

Aufgaben

• Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients to help them reach maximum performance and function.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and document results; coordinate with schools, nursing homes, home care agencies, and hospitals as needed.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records and reports.
• Design and administer treatment programs to improve strength, ROM, and fine-motor skills; train patients in adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Provide sensor-motor integration and developmental therapies for adults and children as appropriate.
• Fabricate splints and adaptive equipment per doctor's prescriptions.
• Administer therapy for neurological conditions and brain injury; address judgment, orientation, and organization skills.
• Deliver prevention therapy to maintain functional skills and teach energy conservation and safety.
• Assess organizational skills, attention, cognitive abilities, coordination, and adaptive equipment needs.
• Develop home programs and instruct patients or families on carrying them out.
• Participate in patient support groups and develop plans of care.
