Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess, plan and deliver therapy to clients across post-acute, long-term care and home health settings.

You will evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental and psychosocial abilities, set realistic goals, document progress and educate patients and families for better functional outcomes. A valid OT license and NBCOT certification are expected, with BLS ongoing. Sign-on bonus applies where eligible.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in applicable state(s).
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• BLS for healthcare providers required or within 60 days of employment.
• May require a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments.
• Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities to set therapy goals.
• Document evaluation data and modify therapeutic plans as needed.
• Educate clients/patients/residents to improve functional outcomes.
• Demonstrate evidence-based practice and maintain clinical guidelines compliance.
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and supervise students or aides as needed.
